One remarkable art gallery in Munich Haidhausen is Artoxin in the Kirchenstrasse. The name refers to the intoxicating impact of art. It was founded by a former chemist Angelika Donhärl and Gottfried Düren in 2014. They display art from local artists as well as international artists.
Bruno Kuhlmann is currently represented with a number of paintings. He was born in Munich and studied at the arts academy of Munich with Prof. Helmut Sturm. Mr. Kuhlmann does painting as well as video installations.
Another inspiring artist is Fumie Ogura. She is from Kobe in Japan and studied as well in Munich. Her installations and paintings offer new perspectives and draw from her native Japan. Currently, she lives in Munich.
